The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is pleased to offer free learning certifications and programs to all United Nations Refugee UNHRC card holders. These programs are designed to help refugees acquire new skills and knowledge, which can be used to improve their lives and the lives of others.
One such program is the Elder Care Rehabilitation Post Surgical Program. This program is designed for caregivers and is available in 6, 12, and 24-month certified programs. The Elder Care program is specifically geared towards providing rehabilitative care to patients after they have undergone surgery.
The program is open to anyone who possesses a UNHRC card and is interested in enhancing their caregiving skills. The program can be taken by individuals who do not have a formal education in nursing or caregiving, as it teaches the necessary skills and provides the appropriate training to provide quality care to patients.
The Elder Care Rehabilitation Post Surgical Program covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to wound care, pain management, nutrition, and physical therapy. The program also teaches interpersonal skills, which are necessary to develop effective patient-caregiver relationships
Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which can be used to enhance their C.V.
